He got nausea watching Volquez make a mockery of his craft.

On another note … Yeah Colby Rasmus!!

Cant argue when you get hte longest game in opening day history for free.... Wasnt that bad either.

Also, what is the longest opening day game ever?

2 Leagues, combined 3 for 46. Bautista is the only player to get a hit for me all day.

In one of them my team went 0-20 with an OBP of .000
first time ive ever had an offense give me a complete 0 across the board

11/39, .282. .727 OPS to start. Not half bad for what amounts to really one days worth of work.

A summary of today for those who didn't watch the games:

Halladay continued being the best pitcher in baseball, Bautista continued being the best hitter in baseball, the Red Sox continued to lose in crushing walkoff fashion, and Brett Lawrie had the game winning run to begin his epic season.

All is most certainly well.

You should consider yourself lucky that you go to watch Bautista hit 6 times for free.

No mention of Johan yet? I was not expecting that in his first game back...

Matt Kemps HR was pretty impressive. Opposite field at Petco and it looked like a routine fly ball off the bat, it just kept carrying.

Volquez's line ended up not being too bad. He got squeezed a bit and then kind of lost it. Other than that one inning he was solid.
