Start Masterson at Toronto today? WHIR

Do you think it's a smart move to start Masterson today? He's looked kind of shaky his las few spring starts.

He wasn't terribly sharp the past two years in spring training, so I wouldn't read too much into it. That being said, I'm always cautious with opening day starts, but he'll at least get you some Ks if not the win.

Plus he's at home, not at Toronto.

I would be fine with it. He is pretty good so you might as well start him.

Masterson's main issue is LHB, something the Jays lack with only Lind/Thames/Rasmus. I'd go ahead and start him. Wrong forum by the way.

i dont believe in sitting a SP unless you lock up the cats but i still wouldnt the kid went 5-0 in april last year
