As the title states, I need to come up with 2 drops for today. Unfortunately I could get any trades worked out so my hand has been forced. Snider is an obvious cut, but I'm not sure who the second should be. I was honestly thinking one of my 2B and hope the one I keep stays injury free and produces at least what they are projected (similar numbers between the two)?

Even though they are good players it does you no good to have so many 1b types
When are you ever going to play them
If you can't trade Dunn or Lind I would drop Dunn

I would also bench Montero and move Konerko to the starting at util

I've been offered a 3rd round pick for Dunn (couple weeks ago it was Cueto, but that manager dropped him). This is a no move league (trades only) during the season with 8-10 rounds of off-season drafting. So picks can be fairly valuable to move aged players, etc.

Perhaps I might as well trade Dunn for the pick (see if I can bump it to a 2nd round) and drop Snider. Then I just have to hope either Dunn doesn't fully return to his old form, or that I get a good player back via the pick.

And yes, Montero will likely be benched until he gains C eligibility and then I'll try and trade Avila in a package deal to a team without a C.

Was never going to drop Dunn. I tried to get a trade done, but unfortunately no one seems to want to trade any more. The one manage who wanted Konerko declined as he now thinks Freeman will have a much better season than he first anticipated.

At any rate I've dropped Snider and much to disappointment, Teheran. I suppose I could always pick the latter back up in the off-season. If one of the managers who were open to trading before clamming up grabs him I won't be a happy camper.
