Which 2 of these 4 pitchers do you put on your opening day roster as your numbers 5 and 6 starters?
Eaton, Riley, Edwin Jackson, or Jerome Williams
I'm looking to round out my starting rotation. I already have Hudson, Santana, Padilla, and Perez as my top 4. I also have Eaton and Jackson, but have not been pleased with what I'm hearing about either, especially with talk of Jackson going back down for a while. The most interesting pitchers available to me are Jerome Williams (also having a bad spring and may go back down soon) and Riley. Riley has had the best spring and has been named the #4 in Baltimore, but do you think this is worth dumping the potential of Jackson or relative experience of Eaton or Williams?
Perhaps Williams is your best bet. Immediately drop Jackson. Theres really no reason to have shitty starters on your squad early in the year - just pick them up if they happen to have some good games.
I would say Eaton hands down, heard rumor Williams might get sent down, also Riley is very unproven, i would see how that new park and lineup treats Eaton, i would guess real nice

Seriously, I like Eaton. Jerome has good stuff but Eaton will get you K's on a good team. Jackson could end up as Dontrelle Willis or Rick Ankiel... probably just best to keep an eye on him or trade to someone who believes.
OK, so I'm sold on Eaton. I've heard 1 hesitant vote for Riley and mixed feelings on Jackson. I'll keep Eaton. Should I drop Jackson for Riley or Williams or just wait and see?
