15 Team 5x5 Keeper League - My First Year WHIR

Postby Osubball131 » Wed Apr 04, 2012 2:46 pm

This is my roster for a 15 team keeper league. I inherited a team that was lacking a lot of impact players and thus kept almost no one. Let me know how you think I did and what I still need to target via trade or waiver wire. As always WHIR. Thanks.

For a 15-team league, this is actually a solid team, imo. I think you could stand to improve your pitching - I don't particularly trust Peavy or Danks - but your hitters are well-balanced. The only other suggestion I would make, aside from targeting pitching, is maybe try to target younger hitters, if possible. Berkman, Beltran, Helton, Wells and even Youk are all getting up there and pose a potential injury risk.

I hope that helps. It's tough to offer more without seeing the other teams and available FAs.

If you have a chance, here's my team: viewtopic.php?t=443484

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

I agree, this is a solid team for a league with 15.

Could you share some of the batters that are available on the waiver wires so we can help you with any pickups? I actually think your pitching isnt bad at all. Good luck!
