I have both closers as well as Gagne. Who should I stick with and who should I shop around in my league? I am leaning towards Dotel to keep but he still has not proven himself as a closer even though he's been pretty much lights out the last couple of seasons. Just want to see some people's feedback on this.

Keep Dotel, his stuff is absolutely nasty. You should be able to get something decent for Benitez as well.

Definitely Dotel, although Benitez is quality, so long as he's not facing the Yankees. Although, I'm wondering why you would want only two closers...? Most people seem to like at least three, and I have five myself right now. I'd think twice.

Definitely Dotel...top 5 closer this year (I have no faith in Foulke-- Fly ball pitcher+ Network Associates Coliseum= ;-D

In a situation like this I'd shop Dotel around and try to get some really good value back, but in this particular case I think the combo of Gagne and Dotel is just too sharp to give up unless you're overwhlemed by an offer. Shop Benitez is you have to.

Keep Benetiz, he is under valued this year and could bounce back big time. I personally think he will put up better numbers than Dotel.

Shop Dotel because he has a lot of love out there and you should get plenty of interest. Way more than I would give a guy with such a high career % of blown saves.

i agree, 2 closers is not enough, even with one being gagne. especially in roto, you need at least 3, I have 4 and R. Wagner in case he closes. In h2h, 3 is ok. But I would think twice too, thatis a nice 1-3 punch

keep your 3 CL thats just plain nasty.. Gagne, Dotel, Benitez. BUt if u had to shop anyone i would shop Benitez

Personally, I think that Benitez and Dotel have similar stuff in terms of nastiness. They are both money.

However, their perceived value is wildly different. Everyone loves Dotel (look above) but there is little love for a man with a career .188 BAA.

People only remember the blow-ups. Keep Benitez if you're set on trading one. But I'd keep both, unless you're overwhelmed.
