Help! I have too many keepers!

This is a 12 team H2H league.

Stats: AVG, HR, R, RBI, SB, OPS, K, E...........ERA, K, WHIP, W, SV, HR, K/BB

I can keep 7 players. Who to choose?

This is year 4 of our keeper league, so it's been around for awhile and will continue for many years (ie. youth is valuable)

First, let's get rid of the obvious - can you make trades before the draft (ie. trade 2 valued guys for 1 bigger fish?)

If not, I'd probably go with - Hosmer, Longoria, Bruce, Santana, Stanton, Felix and Strasburg.

I am fine with this though I would probably keep Castro over Santana. That being said, you really need to look into doing a 2-1 or 3-1. I hate you not keeping either Strasburg or Santana and if you could get an upgrade keeper for those two (and I wouldn't see why you couldn't) then even better for you.

Yes we can make trades, including draft picks.

I'm trying to swing a 2 for 1 to grab Verlander, giving up Castro and Hamilton with various picks thrown in. The guy with Verlander doesn't have enough keepers and I have too many. Does that seem fair?

Castro/Hamilton would be plenty but I'd rather combine both for a bat since Felix is fine. I wouldn't be that concerned about literal fair value, be willing to pay more if you can get an upgrade rather than throwing away guys like Castro and Strasburg back into the draft.
