Mets Opening Day. Lock it up.
nicely done. i had atl but was also hoping for a johan W if the mets won, so of course he pitches 5 shut out innings and ends up with the ND for the double whammy.

I was right though that they were the best Opening Day franchise in MLB history. They say it every year. This team might go 1 - 161, but dammit they were winning today.
i completely agree and generally i stay away from them. My thought process was that the Rangers were going to put up a bunch of runs regardless so if it happened to be a 6-5 game so be it. Obviously it didn't work out the way i wanted, but the Angels did win 5-0 so that helped out. Mariano Rivera blowing a save was the difference in a winning and losing day, given that was my biggest bet of the day. As soon as i saw Keppinger as the Rays cleanup hitter, i got excited. whoops!
Back at it today,
ATL -115 SF even MIL -125 SEA -115 WAS even PHI/PIT under 6.5
lots of action today, hoping to get back on track. I think im going to keep betting Phillies unders for awhile unless they get really really low. the offense is just too poor and the starting pitching is too superb for me to see either team scoring over 5 runs.
