As for the trades, I'm checking to see how balanced, etc.
Trade 1:
I give: Reynolds, Konerko, Turner, 2nd round off-season draft pick I get: Bryce Harper, Strausberg, 3rd round off-season draft pick
Trade 2:
I give: Teixeira, Cahill, Turner, 3 round off-season draft pick I get: Ellsbury, Weaver, 4th round off-season draft pick
I'm suspecting I may have to give up more for trade 2 to even have a shot. As for trade one, it fills holes in the other managers team. He has big question marks at 1B and 3B (Belt & McGehee).
Perhaps I should look at different players to offer? Trade 2 would help me out more now as opposed to trade 1, which would be down the road a bit.

The other team would have to be dumb to accept this. It would take a lot more than 200k Reynold and an aging Konerko for me to trade two generational talents in a dynasty league. Turner and the pick make it non insulting so it's worth a shot to get discussing going I imagine.

This one isn't even close. Jacoby is a huge upgrade over Teix, Weaver is an even bigger upgrade over Cahill. Turner and the pick don't begin to even out the value.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!
Of course I like the trades but that doesn't mean the other teams are going to accept. Trade 2 is just bad. Ellsbury over Tex and Weaver over Cahill. Turner is a throw in a t this point until he can prove he can do something on the field. He is going to remind a lot of people of Porcello and will likely be hesitant about giving up much value for him. Deal 1 is closer but it being a Dynasty league, i doubt the guy will trade two of the most hyped prospects ever for an aging star and a backup 3B.
