Had a 7.89 K/9 last year, very good.
Was unlucky last year, his xFIP was 3.28.
Will get 150 SO, with a sub 4 era.
Santana might do something, but i won't own him.
his a career 4.40 era and wont be under 4 and his team wont be able to give him run support. he always has a very strong start but ends awfully but i will give you his ks are good.
He's only 25.
He played 2 years, at age 23 and 24.
And he was unlucky in his era due to a poor strand rate.
How do you know how much run support he gets?
It's a huge variable for a given SP.
As a example, Capuano got more run support then CC did last year.
BP has the Mets scoring 761 runs, which would rank them 13th.
No matter, you can't predict run support for a given SP.
Even a pitcher on the NYY could get the shaft, as a 2-3 run difference per 9 in support is not uncommon.
