Tex & Gallardo for J.Upton and Berkman

Postby suppasonic » Mon Apr 02, 2012 5:11 pm

5x5 H2H, 12 Team Keeper (Keep 3)

C- Santana
1B- Tex
2B- Kipnis
3B - Reynolds
SS - Reyes
CI - A. Lind
OF- Holliday
OF- Crawford
OF- Adam Jones
OF- BJ Upton
UTIL - A.Soriano or J.Bay

SP- Gallardo, Hanson, Garza
RP - F. Francisco, J. Broxton
P- Chapman, Pestano
BN - A. Sanchez, T. Lilly, W. Rodriguez, C. Sale

I would like to do this trade. Upton would be a surefire keeper for me on my older roster. The upgrade from Soriano to Upton is much better than the loss from Tex to Berkman -- I'm just not sure it is worth losing a top flight starter. Thoughts, my cafe friends?

Take the trade. Losing Gallardo sucks, but you're in a keeper league and you're getting the best player in the deal (Upton).

I'd take my chances with J-Up here also and start shopping your outfielders for a replacement starter.
