Was Joe optioned to the minors? Just wondering considering I was hearing high praise of him. The words "real deal" were used very often.

Will someone please answer this?
I have Mauer slated to start for me next week, but now Yahoo! has him as Not Active. I can't find ANYTHING about him being sent back to the minors, but he's not on the Twins' website's roster page any more.
Help!!!

If you are in a Yahoo League just look to the right of his name and note the little N/A in red. That that only thing I've seen or heard about it.

I have to go ahead and say I seriously doubt that..
An april fools joke would be putting Pujols or A-Rod on N/A.. not Jose Mesa and Joe Mauer..

There is nothing wrong with Joe Mauer - he is going to be their openning day starter and will probably play 130-140 games.
He will hit well but probably not a ton of power - expect .280 - 10 - 70. He doesn't have a ton of speed so not much in the SB department.
His family bought 1500 tickets for friends and family for the home opener on Monday.

it could be that @ yahoo they have to be active for like 15 days at a position... and with him being a rookie... maybe that affects his availablity... i know it just showed up out of nowhere (cuz i got em too) which kinda puts my theory down... but i dont know

it must be a yahoo glitch - mauer is having a great spring and will be the twins starting catcher - a guy in my league saw the na by his name and dropped him - he cleared waivers and i picked him up - i dont mind taking advantage of guys that base all of their moves based solely on yahoo
