Maybe not, but I think this is a very solid squad. 12 team roto points league, standard categories:
C - Buster Posey 1B - Prince Fielder 2B - Brandon Phillips 3B - David Freese SS - Derek Jeter CI - Joe Mauer MI - Mike Avilies OF - Carlos Gonzalez OF - Adam Jones OF - Carlos Beltran OF - Coco Crisp UT - Paul Goldschmidt BN - Mark Trumbo BN - Alex Gonzalez BN - Justin Smoak BN - Travis Hafner
P - Dan Haren P - Zack Greinke P - Mariana Rivera P - Jordan Walden P - Tim Hudson P - Hiroki Kuroda P - Johnny Cueto P - Jair Jurrjens P - Phil Hughes BN - Brad Lidge BN - Kyle Lohse BN - Henderson Alvarez
Very balanced team all the way around, no big holes that I can see (though it's been several years since I've played Roto). Huddy is starting the season on the DL, but I think he's only going to miss around 3 starts or so.
Just a question, what pick did you have in the draft? Did you take Fielder or Cargo? Because both of those guys seem to be going in the second round this season.

I had the 11th pick - took Fielder # 11, then CarGo # 14.
Hudson is injuried? Damn! I can slot in Phil Hughes since we appears to have locked in a rotation spot and maybe eve Brad Lidge early for some cheap saves until Storhen comes back.
I usually like to go for balance - I'm not a big fan of punting categories or going for players that have only 1-2 extreme categories and then they bomb the rest. I wasn't expecting to nab 2 catchers but Posey and Mauer both fell to me at value draft positions.
I like that squad. Good luck. If you get real solid numbers early in the season from Mauer or Hafner, they would be perfect trade bait. Although I'm not a TWINS fan, I live in Minneapolis. And there's not a lot of confidence in Mauer's health (longterm).

Very good team. Especially in a 12-team league. I do think your bench hitters are expendable. I suggest keeping an eye on them for the first couple of weeks, see how they start, but be ready to dump them if they don't show anything (especially Hafner and Smoak). Other than that, I don't see many ways to improve. If you'd like, you can list some notable FAs and I'll give you some more suggestions.
Not sold on lock for the Championship. I like Cargo, and Mau Pau/Posey combo to have bounce back seasons. Pitching looks pretty solid, however help with mine please?
