Jimenez was not only wrong in hitting him, but running in after him.
What do you do if someone starts yelling at you, calling you names, and acts like he wants to beat the sh.t out of you, before you have a chance to say anything? Im sure no player sais sorry. These are millionaire players with huge egos, so at that point it was past way beyond the point when anyone can say sorry.
You've certainly changed your tune since a few years ago.

Tulo called him a chicken, big deal. It's not like he ragged on Jimenez mom or anything. Jimenez could have just stayed on the mound, but he threw his glove down, pumped his chest, and ran towards the plate.
It's possible Jimenez didn't hear what Tulowitzky said. Just saw Tulo dropping the bat, yelling something and stood there like challenging Jimenez. Metacomminication is what humans understand the best. Just watch the video. That body language tells: You want a piece of me you (profanity in spanish in Ubaldo's brain), here I am. And Im not as mad, as latinos are, so my interpretation is probably less insulting.

You aren't supposed to say or in anyway motion that you are sorry when you accidentally hit a player. You are taught that so it isn't obvious when pitchers do intentionally hit people. I still think Ubaldo is a jackass here, but I've been a jackass before too.
haha. so called tough guys in baseball. So ready to talk tough if the other isn't in the room or if there is someone there to hold them back. Also, why does anyone care about this? The Rockies and Indians aren't even relevant in spring training.

This is like James Harrison laying out Eli Manning...maybe not suspension worthy but politics dictates it in today's game..
I don't like Ubaldo at all so I'm perfectly fine with the suspension. He's done nothing but lie about it sinse too so screw him..he's a clown.
If Michael Cuddyer was trash talking him in the media then yeah, he'd probably be suspended for intentionally drilling Michael Cuddyer. And I agree fully that Ubaldo is a clown. He obviously does not understand the protocol for obtaining a huge contract.
