First time... any advice?

So this is a first for me, but it also happens to be an office pool, and so bragging rights are on the line! If you could give me some advice, I would appreciate it. This is an 8-team head-to-head league. I will comment on some other teams after I learn more about this whole thing!

Wow, I'm impressed. Your draft went great in my opinion. Since this is your first season, good luck. You're set at just about every position. And when Prior comes back you're team's gonna be tight!

Thanks drewski, I appreciate the comment. I thought that the draft went pretty well, but then again I don't really know what I was looking for. I think I have pretty solid pitching, but I am sort of nervous about the offensive side of the plate. Any ideas where I can make an improvement, or should I instead look at improving my pitching?

Take a close look at your outfield. If the Sox have a day off, you're down 2 with Mags and Lee. Both are great ball players, but you're gonna be down 2 players. I'd look to get another spot starter, or try upgrading to someone from a different team.

i agree with the last posting, your scheduling might get a lil screwy coz you do have two CWS OFs. Get rid of lee and try to get someone else (Dunn maybe, he might blow up this year) instead. BUt keep maggs!!!! Your pitching staff also looks aweseome !! GOOD LUCK !!!

Thanks for the advice. There's a lot of things to worry about when you are drafting your team! I am not sure what would be the best course of action then, as C. Lee should have a pretty high trade value. Dunn is still available as a free agent, but it would be dumb to just drop Lee to get him... Any advice?
