I'm taking Kershaw from tier 1. Then I'll go:

Grienke
Strausberg
Weaver
Morrow

I'm super high on Morrow. That guy pitched to a 1.29 WHIP in the AL East with 203 K in 179 IP last year. I can see him having 230+ K in 210 IP and his whip projects a lower ERA than he actually had last year.

Morrow???
lol

although i'd much rather have him than Strausberg, whoever that is

Morrow is a candidate to have an ace like season. 3.00 era, 1.20 whip, 16w, 210k's. I consider him every draft but almost never end up getting him.

Vegas has the o/u on his ERA at 4.40, a mark he's yet to break as a starter. He's as much a candidate to have a 3.00 ERA as he is to have one over 5.

even if that were true, youd be passing up like 12-15 established, legitimate aces who have consistently shown an ability to produce those numbers over the past several seasons, and are not relying on a "breakout"

and believe me, im first in line for the Morrow breakout train, as I own him on both of my money teams.

Totally agree but I like to pick at least one "outside the box" guys to spice things up.
