Good team, good defense, good enough K rate. He'll end the year as a top 15 starter pretty easily. Kind of like Haren he'll do it in a pretty boring fashion though instead of being all Ks like guys who people seem to prefer. Also you can't pick Verlander.
Yeah I like Haren a lot..I just think Weaver's fly ball nature will eventually bite him...I just don't think he's as safe an option as the guys he gets drafted around and therefore he would never end up on my team..
Why don't they just get a house that's already painted?
really hard to decide between Hamels, Weaver and Strasburg. weaver and hamels are basically identical. (K,ERA, whip). I put weaver on the list simply because of the major downgrades on Philly's O and upgrades in Anaheim. Of course, Strasburg has the potential to put himself in a completely different tier than anyone in baseball. like crazy Randy Johnson sh*t.
