We had a team drop out after the draft in a 16 team roto league. Do we Let the team ride out the season accumulating stats or place the roster on waivers?

We made an offer: 20% buy-in, 20% payout.

You shouldn't allow someone to drop off after the draft. That is, unless you were sloppy and didn't get everyone's money before the draft?

I didn't do it this year, but I like the idea of an entry fee + a 100% returnable fee for staying active. Also ya, you have to have everyone pay before the draft. I had a couple guys who hadn't paid and so I kicked them out and replaced them with others. Anyone joining should be willing to accept the invite to the league and pay at the same time.

If u want a replacement owner u need to give them a better incentive, your league needs an active owner more than the money
The person that drafted the team owes u the money
See if you can find an owner that will stay active if it is at no cost for the team
If they place in the winnings they would only get a small percentage of normal 10 percent or so
just make sure the new owner will stay active

Thanks for the replies. We did get someone to take over the team for a reduced price.
