I've been offered Halladay+Cespedes+Logan Morrison for McCutchen+Peavy+Hunter. What do you guys think?
I know my pitching is extremely weak, but I think my lineup is relatively strong.
I play in 16 team H2H points keeper league with the following point scoring categories:

Runs Batted In (RBI) 1
Stolen Bases (SB) 2
Caught Stealing (CS) -1
Strikeouts (K) -0.5
Innings Pitched (IP) 3
Earned Runs (ER) -2
Wins (W) 2
Losses (L) -2
Saves (SV) 5
Strikeouts (K) 0.5
Hits Allowed (H) -1
Walks Issued (BB) -1
Quality Starts (QS) 3
My team is:
C Carlos Santana
1B Joey Votto
2B Howard Kendrick
3B Pablo Sandoval
SS Asdrubal Cabrera
IF Ryan Howard
LF Michael Morse
CF Andrew McCutchen
RF Torii Hunter
OF Alex Rios
UTIL Aaron Hill
SP Gio Gonzalez
SP Anibal Sanchez
SP Colby Lewis
SP Johnny Cueto
SP Derek Holland
P Jake Peavy

The Sandoval roller coaster, question marks about the validity of Asdrubal's production and Ryan Howard's injury and decline.
That being said there are only a handful of SP's who can single handedly impact your entire fantasy rotation and Halladay is one of those guys. While I love McCutchen's potential and upside it's not 100% proven and Halladay is 110% legit. I'd make the move.
I would have thought that my lineup is in better shape than my rotation, considering that I did not draft a pitcher until round 8 in a 16 team league.
Sandoval is uncertain, but probably there are only a handful of better options at 3b and there were all gone after 2 rounds in the draft. Ditto for asdrubal.
I also have high hopes for Logan and cespedes.

Normally I don't like a stud for pitching in points leagues but there's a key component here. 3 points PER Inning?? Doc is a machine and will hit 220-240 innings that's a ton of points. Plus as the other poster said you get Cespedes and LoMo vs. low tier Peavy & Hunter.
No brainer here unless i'm missing something.

The points system leans pitching, and an inning pitched is worth more than a run, RBI and HR combined. Even without C and LoMo thrown in, do it! In a 16 team league where pitching is severely diluted, you will have a huge advantage.

A HR is worth more than 3 points as you have 1 for run scored, at least 1 for RBI, and 4 for taken bases. Does this change your opinion?
