I've been offered 2 trades. I've been offered Martin Prado for Kendry Morales and another trade that is offering me Dustin Ackely for Chase Utley (mixed 5x5 league). Both offers appear to upgrade my team. Maybe he's just looking to shake his team up a bit or maybe he doesn't like these guys. Am I missing something or should I jump on these opportunities ASAP?
Prado over Morales? Ugh. I'd hold on to Morales there. I'd probably take Ackley for Chase though, even though I'm not super high on Ackley. Chase could easily be stick-a-fork-in-him done, so to get a decent prospect at the same position in exchange for him is solid.
It is amazing how quickly people jump off the bandwagon. Last year Prado was a lot of people favorite pick (similar to Bonifacio this year) but one badish year and suddenly you fall behind a guy who hasn't hit a baseball in well over a year. Prado doesn't do anything flashy but I think he is a safer and more well rounded player than Morales.
