We're allowed to have two closers on our team. My first one is Heath Bell and my second one is Sergio Santos. Do you guys think I should pick up either Kyle Farnsworth or Jordan Walden for Santos?
I like Santos too, but I feel like Walden has way better job security with Fransico Cordero also being in Toronto. You wouldn't think about dropping Heath Bell for Walden would you?

Bells K/9 dropped a lot last year. But he has nobody on his back, and i expect Miami to have a lot of close games (chances). F Cordero isn't much, i don't think Santos is worried. Walden has good stuff, but Scott Downs is a bigger threat, if Walden blows 10 again.

I would rather try and trade Bell and then pick up Walden than drop Santos. Really though if there is that many closers on the WW than I wouldn't worry about it and just see how each one fares and maybe make a move if you see something that worries you. I wouldn't worry too much about who is behind the closer, if they do the job then they won't lose it and you really never know who will not get the job done.

The only reason there is so many good closers on the wire is that some people weren't aware at the time of the draft that we could only have two RPs on our roster and some people drafted three so our league manager is making them drop them before next week. There was a couple of people that drafted three really good relievers and that's why there is so many solid ones on the wire right now. I waited really long on closers (third to last and last round) and picked up Heath Bell from a guy who had to droppe him through waivers yesterday. Walden's waiver claim will be this Friday, and someone else just had to drop Joe Nathan. As far as trading Heath Bell, no one will be willing to give me anything for him. He fell to like 190 in our draft. So with Joe Nathan now in the mix do I still stay with Santos and Bell (Someone claimed Farnsworth this morning)?
