Strasburg

I'd make that deal. You get a substantial upgrade at 1st and a solid closer, plus Josh Beckett who is always solid. You give up a lesser 1st basemen and a solid ace potential starter. You gain more than you give, so yes i'd do this deal! ;-D

I pass. The difference between Stas and Beckett is bigger then Prince to Tex, IMO.

I still think that throwing in a closer makes this deal make sense. Fielder will give you better stats than Tex, and Stras will give you moderately better than Beckett... but by throwing in League that makes the deal. Tex's average has been dropping significantly for 3 straight years now, he's getting older and i don't see that trend changing.

Yeah, I am a huge Yanks fan, but Tex's average sucks, and this year I want players with good averages. I like Strasburg a lot, but Beckett isn't a scum, and I needed a closer. So, I made the deal.
