I haven't watched Votto this spring. How does he look at the plate? That's more important to to me than what numbers he is actually putting up. Assuming he still looks good at the plate which I imagine he does, I think he will be the better choice of the two.

Fielder provides power, but Votto brings some stolen bases and a better .AVG to the conversation while not falling all that far behind in the power department. If he's willing to do a 1 for 1, go for it. If it's going to involve other players, just be careful.
Does Votto's horrible spring numbers concern anyone? That's one thing that makes me balk a bit. Not to mention Prince with Miggy could be epic.
There is no correlation between spring numbers and regular season.
I prefer Votto, because Fielder is losing his splits at Miller Park.
