A guy in my league recently expressed interest in a deal involving my Prince Fielder and his Joey Votto. Would I be better off keeping Fielder or getting Votto? Note our stat categories and my roster below. Both are keepers thru 2013.

I love Votto. He's my #4 1B right after Cabrera, Pujols, and Gonzalez.
Fielder provides power, but Votto brings some stolen bases and a better .AVG to the conversation while not falling all that far behind in the power department. If he's willing to do a 1 for 1, go for it. If it's going to involve other players, just be careful.

Does Votto's horrible spring numbers concern anyone? That's one thing that makes me balk a bit. Not to mention Prince with Miggy could be epic.
Fielder and Cabrera could be epic, but the Reds lineup is nothing to sneeze at either. Bruce? Phillips? Stubbs?
It's up to you. Could Fielder have a monster season? Yes. I think Votto's floor is higher. I don't think Votto does any worse than .280 with 30 HRs, 100 RBIs and 10 SBs. Fielder on the other hand could have some kind of adjustment period to the AL.

Although close, I'd take Votto over Prince . Votto is strong across the board and seems much more reliable health wise than Prince b/c of the weight issue.
