2 Deals: Pick 1. WHIR

Postby ScrappyDawg » Wed Mar 28, 2012 4:30 pm

So my pitching is thin since I moved Rollins and Strasburg for HanRam, so I am trying to move a big bat for a big pitcher. I have two deals currently offered to me:

Deal 1: Dan Uggla/Alex Gordon for Ian Kennedy/BJ Upton/Neil Walker

or

Deal 2: Adrian Beltre/Jason Heyward for Zach Greinke/David Freese.

Leave a link and I WHIR ASAP.

B.J. Upton is likely to miss the first series to open the season and could be headed to the DL. I'd actually pass on both. Keep window shopping, your team is fairly solid theres no need to jump the gun on trades just yet.

Deal 1 better than Deal 2, but I don't really like either one also.

Check out my question too when you get a chance. ;)

Stand pat for now. I like your team better without either trade. I think if you wait a week or two into the season you could prob pry a better pitcher for uggla/Gordon if you still want to move them.

I would take deal 2.
Greinke is a beast, and you need the SP.
Freese could go 20/80.
