This is a 12 team keeper league, draft is this Saturday. My 7 keepers are Jose Reyes, Mike Napoli, Trevor Cahill, Johnny Cueto, Brandon Beachy, Zack Cozart, and Brandon Belt.
I kept Cozart because I get him in the 21st round and he could be Reyes insurance. I also really like his potential, he puts up good power numbers for a SS. Kipnis (20th round pick) could be more major league ready this year though, and could put up equal or better numbers at the 2B position. Plus I already have Reyes.
So what do you think I should do?

If this were a non-keeper, the answer would be easy, trade for Kipnis.
Because its a keeper though, I think is important to consider the following points:
1) Cozart plays a thin position SS, for a team with a very good offense, for whom he is pegged to bat 2nd for, which could lead to a good runs scored stat. 2) Based on the minor league records, Kipnis projects as a .280-15-15 guy who might hit 20-25 HRs eventually, Cozart projects as .265-15-25, and might hit .280 eventually and steal 30-35 bags. 3) Cozart might be more injury prone. 4) Cozart has less of the track record than Kipnis, more certainty around what he will deliver. 5) Kipnis' defense needs to improve if he wants to stay on the field.
I think you've have a think through this and decide what is more important, power and BA or speed and a backup who can play MI and backup your primary SS.
