EDITED: I intentionally left the names off...as I do not want the "names" to skew the advice...I really wanted opinions based on the projections...not our feelings about a guy based on his name or his team...I realize this has its place...but I have my answer based on guys names...and I am not sure that it is the RIGHT answer when I look at the #s

1) Last year's stats aren't the best thing to look at when deciding WW pick-ups. 2) I don't know what "AWHIR" means. 3) Please post the rest of your staff, including RPs. 4) You may even want to include your hitters, as there may be a gaping hole to fill.

These are avg projections from several sources for this year....not late years stats...
AWHIR means "always will help in return"
I left the names off on purpose...as I want opinion based on projections not names. Yes...I know names and history play a part...but I also think names can bias the answer. I will post names eventually...but I would like peoples opinions on the #'s as that is what you score...not peoples names.

Those numbers I copied from Yahoo..as I thought it would be too confusing to post projections from everywhere...but it looks like yahoo took the best of Bill James and Rotochamp for these #s.
Interesting you chose F...as I only added him after doing my look through stats only...and ignoring names. He is the exact reason I am so F'n confused.
i don't like James and Rotochamps projections myself. I think ZIPS does a nice job. A doesn't make sense, so high a whip and era with that K/9? Is A Gio?

F is the choice. Just looking at stats makes it nice because I don't have to give real considerations like who else is in their team's rotation, which park they pitch in, which division their team is in, how old the pitcher is, which way he is trending, or his past or future injury possibilities.

Interesting....no I wish Gio was an FA...lol...would have snagged him over Alvarez when I dropped Nova for sure.
Here are their stats in ZIPS...I will post who is who in a bit...wanna here your input based on ZIPS
BTW...holy crap is ZIPS pessimistic with their projections pretty much across the board.
My point from before is you are presenting other peoples opinions to us and then saying pick one. You don't need us for that, you are already basing your choice on what someone else is predicting. Just pick the one that gives you the most points or PR or whatever for your league. As you can see your first set of numbers and second set don't match up at all.
If you want our opinions, tell us which guys you are considering and we can tell you what we think.
