I have the #1 waiver priority in one my leagues... what is all so great about this? How do I lose it...? I never really understood how it could come to help me during the season...

all it means is that when a player is dropped from one of the other teams he goes to the waiver wire, you get first dibs on whether you want him or not, if you take him then you go to the end of the WW list

other times when WW priority could be useful:
1) if a minor league phenom gets called up mid-year he starts off on waivers
2) in a single league (NL or AL only) league if anyone is traded into your league then that soumeone should be put on waivers.
3) some leagues (I repeat, some, not yahoo, I think) place people on waivers when they come off of the DL

#1 waiver priority is great. Sit back and wait for someone to drop a stud because he has some bad games.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!
