MLB Draft Final! Need Improvements! WHIR....

So my draft is final and I have some questions:

1.) Did I blow it picking up Vladdy? Will he retire? Whats his deal? Do I hold onto him?
2.) Chris Carpenter; I know he is hurt but was it smart to grab him? I figured he will come back fine, but any idea when he does come back?
3.) I'm going to list some FA/Waiver options that may be better than Ian Desmond, Danny Espinosa, Vladdy, or Rasmus, as I'm not too confident in my Util/Bench players.
4.) Also anything on Trumbo? Had no idea whether to snag em, but did.
5.) So my main question is where can I improve my team?

FA/Waiver options: Delmon Young (OF) ; Austin Jackson (OF) ; Mitch Moreland (1B,OF) ; Justin Morneau (1B) (Any I may be missing or is a sleeper that is worth keeping for a little?

I don't know about Guerrero, but there's no harm in waiting a week or so to see what you do with him. Right now he is homeless, but he's still a good player, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone in the MLB picks him up.

I took Carpenter too, I think he'll be back before may and be be a good mid tier pitcher.

Also what's with the catching situation? Catchers are pretty deep this year, haven't seen anyone take Arencibia, but then again you're in a points league so maybe his terrible AVG doesn't matter as much.

Vlad is working out for the Indians but that is all i know on that.

You might grab Austin Jackson in his place because he will score runs, steal some bags and get his triples ... also will K a lot but that is what it is.

Not too worried about my catcher as I had Arencibia last year and he didn't do too bad. The other catchers available are:
Kurt Suzuki ; Chris Iannetta ; A.J. Pierzynski ; Carlos Ruiz (These are the ones that stick out, and dont look worth it)

I am really leaning on grabbing Austin Jackson for either Danny Espinosa or Ian Desmond, but not sure if thats the right move yet at least.....

Other than that though, is my team a playoff caliber team? Any more suggestions? Thanks ya'll!

Is it worth grabbing Austin Jackson for Espinosa or Desmond, or even Rasmus?

Drop Vlad, and Carpenter is out at least 2 months, he's kind of worthless too.

D Young could go 25/90. He is the best guy by far.
Don't drop Espinosa.
