I have Utley in a semi-keeper league (prices increase by $5 per year, $200 cap, he's currenlty at $17 where top players go in auction for $40 and decent players are around $10-15).

I have Daniel Murphy as my filler 2B, and the best available are Jason Kipins, Jaime Weeks and Neil Walker.

We use OBP, SLG, R, RBI, SB and have 12 picks for the year.

I can stash Utley on my DL next week sometime and look to pick someone up - using one of my 12 picks, or I can drop him (or Murphy) for Kipins (moves are free until the season starts tomorrow).

I'm surprised I'm not seeing any talk on Utley... is he really not worth a roster spot anymore?

I would hold on to him then pick up Kipnis/Weeks/Walker when you have the room.

I drafted him fairly late and will start him at the UTIL when he is getting his starts. I have Walker for 2B also and when Utley is out I'll bring someone off the bench too the UTIL spot.

I Would Stash him FOR sure. I know he's not the player he once was, but still, the upside is still there!!

Drop Murphy for Kipnis

Drop him for Kipnis and don't look back. I owned Utley since he was a rookie in a keeper league, but this year I cut him loose. If a guy like Kipnis is available, you gotta turn the page.
