Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

With Chris Perez sidelined and Brett Myers and Vinnie Pestano both being given the closer spots on their teams, I'm now having a difficult time choosing between the two. Myers has more job security, unless he struggles mightily ( in which case I'll drop him anyway ) so has a greater chance of providing some saves, while Pestano is only filling in until Perez comes back from what I understand. Pestano has better stats in the other 4 pitching categories in my league and I'm not exactly hurting for saves. Besides that, I'm not exceedingly confident in the Astro's having a lead in enough games to get Myers enough save opportunities for it to be significant (not many potential 100 loss teams have 30+ save closers). I currently have Myers on my bench (courtesy of autodraft for the last spot on my roster), but am wondering if I should drop him for Pestano. The veteran with enough of a pedigree to be deemed as "safe" or the young high-upside reliever? Myers is also counted as a starter, but I'm not sure I care about that either way.

Perez will be ready for opening day. Myers is the easy call and will be giving every op to close. He may get traded but no til July

Ah I see, didn't do enough research I guess. Didn't think an abdominal injury would be blown past so quickly, thanks though.

Relievers don't need long to get ready. Myers is the pick .... for now. Keep a close eye on Pestano though. If you ever get an available roster spot that you're not sure what to do with scoop him up. Perez is pretty unstable.
