HOw about if I asked for Mike Adams(6) and de Aza instead of LaHair and Collmenter. Would that make it any better for me or should I stay with Pence for now?

the original offer would be a definite no from me. I dont like hunter or jurrgens either. I think your roster looks real good and dont need to trade pence at all. If you did i would have him take out jurgens and ask for Gio or Cahill.

I agree with the others in not liking that original deal.

Now I do like Isotopesgm's suggesting... if you can get Gio instead of Jurrjens... then I would def do it.

i actually like the orginal trade.


lahair is a potential ROY, collmenter is a 4th or 5th starter on a good rotation. got thrown in there as a rookie last year and pitch pretty well for his situation, he had his ups and downs. but when he had his ups he was great. jurrjens only had a low 2 era for most the season. does get hurt a lot but when healthy one of the best pitchers in the league. and hunter will still give you 20+ hrs and 80+ rbis, look what pujols did for berkman in the lineup.


pence had a career year last year but this year will start the year without howard and utley. lowe and tomlin also pitch on the same team, which also isnt a very good team so wins will be hard to get from them. atleast with collmenter and jurrjens there on 2 playoff bound teams.

I agree with staying with Pence on the original deal. Gio in place of Jurrjens makes the deal for me.
