He is offering Cole Hamels, Jordan Zimmermann and Adam Dunn
I would give him Matt Cain, Jesus Montero and Vance Worley

Would any of those 6 be a keeper for you?

Cain and Hamels a wash.

So it really is a 2 for 2.
Zimmerman is over Worley.
Dunn is a wildcard. He could be a 30 hr guy, or a bust again.

I don't think I keep any of these 6 ... unless Montero turned out to be super duper fantastic and catcher eligible.

Do I hold off on this deal and look to instead trade Hunter and one of my arms for SP help?

OR do you think getting Hamels would help me then spin him and Hunter in a bid to get Kershaw?

You could use another bat. Couple of your guys are ?. Upton may not start season right away. Also you pitching is pretty strong. You have to trade a catcher. You really can't start catchers in UT. Offering up montero or Avila and a pitcher for a decent OF

What's tempting about this deal is how great Zimmermann was for me last year. He is a h2h monster in that he is very consistent. I think it's possible that getting frees me to deal a backend arm for OF help. Perhaps Hunter and Lewis for McCutchen.
