in 5x5 roto 15 team i have the following team:

Hitter: Suzuki Hosmer Pedroia D Gordon Gamel Carp Scutaro Jennings JUpton BJUpton Kemp Swisher Cespedes
Pitcher: Beachy Bumgarner M Moore McCarthy G Floyd B Norris J Sanchez Madson Lilly S Baker

Lost Madson as my only close r- have ++ SB

Deal is Norris + BJ Upton for Boesch + Walden... Thoughts>

saves aren't worth THAT much in my mind. You certainly can afford losing a bat like BJ since you have Justin, Kemp, Jennings, and Swisher, but I'm not sure the value is entirely there.

I think at this point I would just enter the year with no RP and reassess the situation after the first week or two. Injuries may do something, or poor play.

This was my concern... I love having Upton and w/ my team I can really put some distance in the SB category and trade later. It seems close to fair in a vacuum but I may not be able to make this deal and wanted to bounce it off of the cafe'ers

I would stay put. It's just not necessary in my opinion. Plus, B.J. Upton is undervalued in my opinion. Yeah, he'll bat .260 but he delivers in every other category. With Carlos Pena back in that lineup he is bound for some bigger numbers. Stay put.

BJ should net you a way better closer. I would look to dump Madson, Lilly & Baker for some high leverage RP options that may have the chance to get saves. Who is available? I'm assuming that Balfour, Pestano, Crain, Broxton, G Holland, Reed, Marshall, etc are already on rosters, no?

I am ok with the deal. I think Upton is over-valued because of that BA. And I really like Walden this year and think he is being under-drafted because of some blown saves. I don't care about Norris and I like Boesch. I really see this deal as Upton for Walden and Boesch and Norris as a drop. Looks like a fine deal to me.

I would also do this deal.

You need saves to be competitive in the league.

Boesch has nice upside, and Walden a better closer than most people think. (Agree with prior post).

Yeah, you're giving up a little more, but saves can be hard to come by in a deep league like this.
