Help with closer situation

Postby plainyogurt » Mon Mar 26, 2012 10:11 am

Draft is over in my roto league. The following are free agents

Jim Johnson, Broxton, Thorton.

I would be using my waiver wire(4th) on them. Which do you think will have the most succes??

Johnson scares me in the AL east, thorton flaked last year but finished solid, and broxton will get me the saves at the cost of ERA and whip.

What do yall think?

I think I'm taking Jim Johnson there. It's not a guarantee Broxton closes the whole year, even if he starts as closer, and the situation is similar for Thornton, although I think he'll end up as closer.

Broxton has all the tools of a closer, I attribute his decline to the injury that sidelined him most of last year. Grab him while you can.
