That's about how I feel. I feel like at this point, Price has more pure talent, but he plays in a much tougher division. Wainwright has all the risk associated with coming back from a serious injury, but he's got a lot of talent. I'd rather have Price on my team, but it's not by a humongous margin.
I think as a redraft league, they both have the potential to put up similar numbers, but the edge to me personally goes to Price. Dealing with a guy who just came of TJ surgery, not sure I want to invest in that.
I have a 20 team draft tonight and I've been agonizing the past few days about taking Waino over the likes of Shields, Kennedy, Mad Bum, etc. I think Price is probably a safer option than Waino at this stage, but I definitely share in your enthusiasm for him to have a big year - I had Josh Johnson a year after TJ and he was a stud. Let's face it, fantasy baseball is a grind, might as well take the guys you believe in assuming the ADP's aren't too terribly off.
