Too many relievers?

Postby dude2chill » Sun Mar 25, 2012 9:14 pm

I am in a 12 team H2H league using ESPN standard scoring for weekly match ups.

I have some pretty good pitching, but I was wondering if I need another starter or not. I have 4 starters and 6 relievers right now, and was wondering if maybe I need another good starter.

Here are my pitchers:

SP CC Sabathia
SP Zack Greinke
SP David Price
SP Brandon Beachy

RP John Axford
RP Jose Valverde
RP Jordan Walden
RP Carlos Marmol
RP Frank Francisco
RP Addison Reed

Any ideas?

Maybe. I have seen many teams do things differently and still end up with a winner in the end. I wouldn't drop any of those guys but I would look at the teams that need a closer and see if you can do a deal.

RP Jose Valverde
RP Jordan Walden
RP Carlos Marmol
RP Frank Francisco
One of these dealt for a piece to help your offense.
Post your complete roster and FAs.
How many P/RP do you start?

Here is my full roster
For pitching we have 9 slots and it does not matter if it is SP or RP, but there is a 12 start limit per week.

C: Wilson Ramos
1B: Joey Votto
2B: Ian Kinsler
3B: Pablo Sandoval
SS: Marco Scutaro
1B/3B: Ike Davis
2B/SS: Aaron Hill
OF: Shin-Soo Choo
OF: Logan Morrison
OF: Desmond Jennings
UTIL: Nick Swisher
Bench: Mat Gamel
Bench: Jed Lowrie

One guy has Ryan Madson and Joakim Soria so I could probably trade him a reliever. He has Lincecum, Strasburg, Wainwright, Romero, Daniel Hudson, and Max Scherzer as starters.

I think for offense I could upgrade the corner infield, c, or ss , or outfield slots.

Walden for Wano try that.
Valverde for Hudson
both would be nice additions to your staff.
