Could you elaborate why you think he was? Just curious to your thoughts. Some folks don't *hate* the pick, but had others ranked higher than him.

Upton was the right choice.

Upton was not the right choice but you can't go wrong. Braun was the right choice being only 28(4 years older then Upton) 30/30 season ( Upton does not have the speed for 30/30) but Upton potential being a 40/20 guy and a future MVP wasn't a bad choice. In a keeper league personal feelings could effect picks, you had it set in your mind that you were taking Upton from the beginning, it's not going to be a bad choice at all.

I really appreciate all the insight guys...pretty much should have taken Braun over Upton but I'm ok with it. I'm sure most of you wish a guy like me was in your drafts picking like that

Now I hope Upton smashes the cover off the ball and becomes a legit 5 cat threat so I can say at least I guessed right!

Because in the long run, Upton will provide more.
Meaning, when Braun starts a decline, Upton will still be in his prime.
Braun was better last year, and could be better this year, but if his sb decline, i could see Upton passing him soon.
