Was this a bad deal? WHIR

So last week I traded Liriano and Delmon Young for Brandon Beachy and Colby Rasmus. I know Liriano was and is having a good spring but I wanted Beachy as this is H2H and consistency is key.

The cafe liked it at the time, but was this a bad deal or will it be good in the end?

Also, which of my current SPs should I aim to package with Hunter or Rasmus to improve my rotation some more?

Sounds like a good deal to me.....

I don't like Lewis or Harrison...I would try to move them. I like Buehrle, but in H2H he is borderline ww material and I would move him if I could as well.

I think the deal works out in your favor a bit. If I would package together something it'd be Hunter and Worley. Hunter is obviously declining and Worley is due for a regression in everything mainly SOs imo. But you can still sell them on last years numbers. You could definitely use a better #2 SP especially in a H2H league.

I like Beachy for 2012. He'll be steady good for 'ya. Liriano is too much of a gamble. I'll pick him up if he's on FA, but I wouldn't give someone at Beachy's caliber for him.

Wow. Someone would do that trade? I guess that it helps that I'm high on Kennedy and Luebke and not so high on Romero. Adding depth by giving up a moving piece (Hunter) is a good move in my opinion. If you want to talk about good springs in relation to Liriano, how about Lorenzo Cain? I think he could be placed in that spot you'd need to fill by giving up Hunter quite nicely.

I think this is a solid trade. Is this you offering or has someone offered it to you? I assume you are offering it and I am not sure someone will accept. Probably need to give something better than Hunter.

You won the Beachy deal easily. Stop looking at spring stats, just give it a couple weeks into the season and then see how you feel about it.
