I am in a 12 team league with 4 keepers each. I have the 6th pick and am thinking of taking him. I really don't think he will be there on the way back. It is a long term keeper league so I think it is worth the risk.
If you want him then take him. Hard to really say without knowing who else is available but it does seem early. On the other hand if that is the guy you want then make the move.

Its definitely very early but in long term dynasty leagues, you'll probably have to take risks if you want to win. Like the other guys, it really does depend on who's available though.

Yes, too early. In past years I drafted Lincecum, Kershaw, and Hamels at exactly this point in Moore's career. They gave me nice seasons, but not good enough to keep (or trade to someone as a keeper).
If he falls to a reasonable spot in the draft for an 11-win strikeout pitcher, then nab him. But don't reach with the expectation that he'll be a keeper-worthy pitcher at year's end.

Thanks for everyone's replies. Where do you think would be a reasonable spot to draft him?
