Cheap steals

Postby Irish Drunk » Fri Mar 23, 2012 12:10 pm

Can I get some recommendations on players who can provide steals at a cheap price <$10. I lost Maybin to free agency and I have Trout @ $10 but he's starting year in minors. Other than Justin Upton have nobody on my roster who will get more than 10 steals. Help!

Just go to a listing of players and sort by stolen bases.

Pagan is a good choice. He is basically an afterthought at this point. He has good contact skills as well. There is no way that he hits in the 0.260's again. I could see a 0.285 avg with 35-40 steals.

Thanks guys. Most of those are kept but Cain and De Aza are available will try to target these guys. I like both, especially Cain who is hot in spring training.

What about these options, who do you see with the best upside

Cain would be a great add for sure.

Out of your most recent list of 4, I'd go after Bourjos as an option for steals, because there's a chance he can offer a bit more in terms of pop.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)
