Milton Bradley

What's up with this guy? He's having a bad ST and now this?

Apr 1 Cleveland Indians OF Milton Bradley left Wednesday's spring game after being lifted for a pinch hitter, according to The Akron Beacon Journal, by taking a taxi back to the team hotel. Indians manager Eric Wedge promised to speak with Bradley on Thursday.

What do you guys think? What do you guys project as his numbers? Will he dropped from the lineup? The kid has so much potential if he gets his act together....

Yet he put nice fantasy numbers up during the second half last year.

Would you drop Bradley?

The available players are:

J. Burnitz (Col - LF,CF,RF)
J. Payton (SD - LF)
G. Jenkins (Mil - LF)
A. Dunn (Cin - 1B,LF)
É. Martínez (Sea - DH)
R. Mondesí (Pit - RF)
A. Béltre (LA - 3B)
M. Stairs (KC - 1B,RF)
M. Mora (Bal - LF)

Who would you take. I need power and RBI's.....I would appreciate any comments or suggestions...what are your thoughts on Mora?

I wouldn't necessarily drop Bradley, but Jenkins looks really good when healthy. He has been injured alot the past few years, but they were all kind of freak accidents. If he stays healthy, he will put up great numbers.

Well, he just pulled another Bradley:

Milton Bradley - OF - CLE Apr. 1 - 11:22 am et

Milton Bradley left Indians training camp Thursday, one day after being pulled out of a game for failing to run out a pop fly.
The centerfielder drove out of Chain of Lakes Park and his name was not on the lineup card for today's game. His agent said Bradley left with the "understanding and agreement of the front office" so that the two sides could weigh their options. It remains to be seen how serious an issue this becomes, but Coco Crisp and/or Alex Escobar could be short-term beneficiaries.

That's from Rotoworld. I don't know what to say. I like the headcase, I don't know why.

I'd take Jenkins over Bradley, unless you need the speed. Also watch Dunn, if he works on just getting hits, not HRs every AB, he could be really good.

Dunn is in your FA pool? What kind of league are you in? I would try to fit him in your roster somehow.

pick up Burnitz for him and play him only when he's in Coors, should give you a power boost

Depending on how many teams are in your league and what kind of league you are in both Dunn and Burnitz can hurt teams a lot. If either Ks or Batting Avg are considered those guys kill you. If Ks are -1 or something Dunn is a waste and last year Dunn single handedly lost BA for me. Just because they have power doesnt make them good Roto players...

Keep Milton everything will be fine. Hes a stud when healthy

If Dunn is in the FA pool, it is probably a roto league with a bunch of smart owners--he is cancer to a roto team due to his BA, although he makes sense in H2H.

THe only guy that may be worth droppng Bradley for is Jenkins, but of course Jenkins has a major injury downside, so its a toss-up between his brittle body and Bradley's cukoo clock head.

The other issue is that they are somewhat different players in terms of how they help you--if you need SBs, stick with Bradley.
