How to trade for AGon?

Postby medium_robin » Thu Mar 22, 2012 12:57 pm

9-team 7x7 roto Keeper league (add K's and OPS for hitters, L's and HR's for pitchers) with 3OF, 2UTIL. Keeper length is 3 years max.

I'm big on AGon this year. Another manager took him later in the first round. If I offered Butler/Lawrie, would that get it done? Is that too high of a price?

The other thing I thought about was offering Pujols but I really don't like this guy's team. He's got Reyes, CarGo, Halladay and a ton of closers. I don't think Pujols for AGon/Papelbon is good for me.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Here is my team:

C-Brian McCann
1B-Albert Pujols
2B-Jemile Weeks
3B-Adrian Beltre
SS-Alexei Ramirez
OF-Giancarlo Stanton
OF-Justin Upton
OF-Jacoby Ellsbury
Util-Billy Butler
Util-Andrew McCutchen
Bench-Nick Markakis
Bench-Eric Hosmer

I also have Lawrie and D. Jennings as prospects. They aren't on my team now but can be any time.

SP-CC Sabathia
SP-Zack Greinke
SP-Brandon Beachy
RP-J.J. Putz
RP-Carlos Marmol
P-Chris Perez
P-Greg Holland
P-Alexi Ogando
Bench-Chris Carpenter
Bench-Jaime Garcia

I wouldn't trade AGon for Butler/Lawrie. You can try it though. Doubt it grows legs.

Maybe he likes Ellsbury? I'd deal Ellsbury straight up for him.
