Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

Am I totally crazy for thinking of doing this?
I get: Joe Mauer and Betancourt
I give: Adam Jones and Cory Luebke
My reasoning: Mauer's going to be catching less than usual this year and should play more games, plus I need a closer. I'm not in love with Adam Jones, and while I like Luebke, I'm worried about his stamina over the whole season (and it being a H2H league I'm more worried about the playoffs)
So am I just talking myself into this? Relievers aren't that important in this league but I need *something*.
WHIR as always. Leave a link and thanks in advance.

Ehh I don't like it. I like outfielders this year, and I also like Adam Jones, good all around guy.
However, I don't think this trade is make or break. Follow your gut.

It's a smoke screen trade. Mauer is all name. Guy brings nothing to the table but a high batting average. Most over rated player every year and people are still hanging on the 1 year he was good. Adam Jones could breakout big time this year.

Oof. I'd shy away from that trade. Jones is a 15-15 guy that will be hitting at the front/middle of a slightly underrated lineup. Mauer, like the previous poster said, "is all name". No power. No speed. He'll just hit the ball. I'd want a little more than that if I'm giving up a potential 15-15 guy.
As for the pitchers, saves can be had on the waiver market after 1-2 weeks. Just closely scrutinize bullpens, and pounce on guys when injuries or demotions strike. I'd hold on to a guy like Luebke.

Thanks everybody, I think I've come to my senses.
Our league is OPS-based with steals counting for very little is why I was considering it, but even then I don't think it makes sense.
