Postby Rabid58 » Wed Mar 21, 2012 12:18 am

I currently have Buster Posey but i would be able to trade him for Carlos Santana which i feel is a good trade for me. Any thoughts? Good Trade? Bad Trade?

This is a 10 Team H2H League.

My current roster:
C: Buster Posey (C, U, SF)
1B: Adrian Gonzalez (1B, U, BOS)
2B: Jason Kipnis (2B, U, CLE)
3B: Pablo Sandoval (3B, U, SF)
SS: Starlin Castro (SS, U, CHC)
OF: Jacoby Ellsbury (OF, U, BOS)
OF: Josh Hamilton (OF, U, TEX)
OF: Michael Bourn (OF, U, ATL)
Util: Jhonny Peralta (SS, U, DET)
Pitching Staff: Atlanta Braves (P, ATL)
B: Colby Rasmus (OF, U, TOR
B: Ike Davis (1B, U, NYM)
B: Nick Markakis (OF, U, BAL)
B: Mike Moustakas (3B, U, KC)
B: Logan Morrison (OF, U, MIA)
B: Emilio Bonifacio (3B, SS, OF, U, MIA)

Scoring is:

Lineup lock time:

Each week you must set your starting lineup. For each player on your roster, you will have until five (5) minutes prior to the start of each player's first MLB game being played each week to place each player into your starting lineup for that week.

Hitters

Single = 1
Double = 2
Triple = 3
Home Run = 4
Run = 1
RBI = 1
Walk = 1
Stolen Base = 2
Caught Stealing = -1

Will help you guys out too... Leave a link. Thanks in advance.

And you're a Giants fan! haha i was gonna go for it right away but i got talked down some by my friends saying Posey is the better hitter overall but i still question how he'll come back after his injury and if he'll be as consistent as before. Also i see Santana keeping his power numbers while lowering strike outs and raising his AVG this year.

ya i love me some posey, but the injury risk can't be ignored and neither can santana's power. posey will also need some days off and the indian's have the DH so santana should play almost every day.

If was choosing which to draft I would take posey because I could take him so much later. However, for a straight across trade I would take it for sure.
