Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

In a NL Only pool 11 team keepers. Having to decide between a $3 Jon Jay and a $6 Jordan Schaefer. Jon Jay seems pretty stable albeit mediocre but Schaefer is unproven but seems to have more upside especially steals and having a good spring. What thoughts on these two players and is Schaefer worth burning the extra 3 bucks in budget going into the auction or is Jay the safer bet? Also concerned about Jays playing time when Craig is back. Thanks.

Eh, I might go with Schafer there, but $6 is a little much imo.
