I vote no, I don't like trading away a starting OF for a pitcher. Price is easier to replace IMO. Also I think Verlander is riskier than Halladay, I just don't see him replicating last year (not that he won't be good). Think about Grienke.
I think upton is due for a big year. No matter what he is a 4 category guy, and if he can hit 265 he wont kill you there. He is 27 and in a contract year. Usually leads to big things. Verlander for halladay is a wash.
I would pass. I like your staff as it is, and even though Verlander/Price would be a upgrade, losing Upton in your outfield could hurt as the season goes by.
I would rather have Verlander and Price. I am not a big fan of Upton. While he gives you a good amount of SB, his power is up and down and his BA is down right awful. Verlander and Price are both Ace's and I would try and flip one for a better OF.
