BIG 8 PLAYER TRADE!!!!! WHIR

Postby joeyg2323 » Mon Mar 19, 2012 6:20 pm

huge trade here. this is a 12 team league. First year draft of a keeper league. Keep 8 next year.
Trade was i traded away Jose bautista, Mike Trout, Eric hosmer, and Soria for Dan Uggle, Beltre, Choo, and Heath Bell.
Early i trader kershaw for upton staight up to the same team. Did these 2 trades help my team?

my team was my team is

c -Santana Santana
1b-Teixera Texiera
2b- Roberts Uggla
3b- Bautista Beltre
ss- Peralta Peralta
Of- Trout Upton
Of- Harper Choo
Of- Lahair Lahair
OF- Viciedo G.Jones
Utl- Hosmer R.Martin
Utl- Freeman Freeman
Utl- Montero Montero
Utl- Moustakes Moustakes
Utl- C.Jones C.Jones
B- R.Martin Harper
B- Viciedo

With haveing young hitters such as Harper, Montero, Moustakes, Santana and freeman i dont see why not trade hosmer and trout for season veterens.

Pitching was
Sp-Kershaw, Wainwright, Hanson, Beachy, Feliz, Kurodo,Jurrjens, Sale and Minor
Rp- ViZcaino, Hughes and Janssen
Cp-Soria, Kimbrel and MO

PItching now

Sp- Wainwright, Hanson, Beachy, Feliz, Kurodo, Jurrjens, Sale and Minor
Rp- Hughes, Vizcaino and Janssen
Cp- Bell, Kimbrel and Mo

did the trades make my team better??

I have to be absolutely honest with you I hate hate hate that 1st trade. You gave up a 2 top prospects and the best player in the deal and didnt get much of a return.

The other deal I am fine with. Kershaw and Upton are both around the same level it just depends on what you need more
Keep

3 Moustakas

Agreed. Sorry man but that first trade is really bad. Bautista is a 1st round player and Hosmer is a top 10 1B. Beltre and so is Uggla but those two alone might not get you Bautista. I would have wanted a top 15 player in return for Bautista.

Agree with the othe posts. The first trade was a BAD trade for you

The 2nd one I like. Both players are studs, even swap.

uggla/beltre have 170 runs, 68 hrs and 187 rbis combines and this is uggla having a bad year! choo had a terrible year last year but 2010 was 20/20 with 90 rbis.
bautista 105 runs, 43 hrs and 103 rbis, trout isnt even going to play and its going to be hard for him to be brought up this year. hosmer was the hardest part to let go of but i already have freeman and texiera why do i need hosmer as well. and now with the news with soria may need tommy john that is a huge part of the deal swapping him for bell.

Just because you have Freeman and Tex doesnt mean you should just get rid of Hosmer for nothing. Hos is the best of those 3 1b in a keeper in my opinion

Even now with Soria being hurt, that first deal is still horribly bad for you. That's how completely hosed you got there.
