Hello folks, first draft of the year has just concluded, which means I need ya:
cats: 6x6 R,H,HR,RBI,SB,OBP-------------HR(against),K,ERA,WHIP,K/BB,QS|| Keeper league, 5 each.
C Mike Napoli(K) 1B Adam Dunn 2B Dan Uggla(K) 3B David Wright SS Troy Tulowitski(K) OF Andrew Mccutchen OF Shin Soo Choo OF Andre Ethier UTIL Jemile Weeks UTIL Lance Berkman UTIL Nick swisher UTIL Ike davis Bn JP Arriencibia Bn Zack Cozart Bn Kelly Johnson Bn Dexter Fowler Bn Brian Lahair
P Tommy Hanson P Jordan Zimmermann(K) P Anibal Sanchez(K) p Matt Moore P Brandon Mccarthy P Aaron Harang Bn Jarrod Parker
4 Utility spots so, as you can imagine, the wire is pretty bare. I definitely took Matt Moore a bit early. I did want him and I don't think it affected my overall draft. I attribute it to being a bit disoriented as to which pitchers to take as I didn't anticipate so many pitchers being kept. (naivete on my part perhaps, my first keeper draft) So anyway, how'd I do guys? WHIRRRRRRR

For pitching, with these stat groups (HRagainst,K,ERA,WHIP,K/BB,QS), why no RP's? All you'll really hurt is K and QS. And it could greatly HELP your K/BB.
On offense, speed is light, and I'm not sold on Dunn coming back at ALL. The guys on your bench won't do much of anything unless there are injuries, so I would shuffle off one or two of them for a high K reliever or two.
It's only cheating on your favorite team if you get caught...Like the '07 Series.
To echo mister_jay_peg's excellent post above, I would:
Drop JP, Cozart, and K Johnson. Add 3 RPs, probably mid-RPs with excellent stuff (Venters, Romo, Clippard, Jansen, Benoit, etc...). Look for guys who don't walk anyone (Romo is a beast) and don't allow a lot of HRs. This move should bolster your pitching stats and cut down on unused players.

Good job on making the most out of BA not being a category. Because of this, you have a lot of assets in your UTIL and your bench that you can trade for speed (to balance out your offensive stats with R and SB) and more importantly set-up relievers, like the gentlemen previously mentioned.
Can't really add anything that hasn't really been said. Good young pitching core, Moore only adds to it, though I'm not sure who you reached over to get him.
