H2H/Roto auction keeper tips?

I'm new to the whole keeper leagues. First time keeping with 2 teams which I posted in other section. What are some rules on who to keep?
Ive read a few articles on rebuilding and going for it. Do you keep the younger guys at cheap prices or vets?
Does anyone has any links to strategies for this?

Whether you keep the young guys with cheap salaries or the more expensive vets is the main thing the game is about. It is all up to you. This year I am keeping almost all cheap players and going into the Auction with more money than I have ever had hoping to get some good players. == Last year in my league ($260 on Auction Day) keep 11 players totaling $243 dolllars. He only had $17 to get the other 12 guys. It was a great try but his keepers got hurt early on and his plan didn't work. == That is the great thing about an Auction League. It is all up to you. There is no right and wrong. I know that I haven't helped, but that is the facts. Good luck

I think it depends on some factors IMO, in a bigger league you can play for the up and coming more than in a small league. In a small league (10 or less) everyone should have known names for all of their positions.

How long can you keep you keepers? Do they get more expensive? I think common practice is to just see how much it costs you to keep compared to how much he would go for on the market.
